This article will give you a comprehensive list of all the top-rated lipsticks to wear! These lipsticks have been tested for comfort, wearability, and color payoff. Some are matte, some are glossy - but they're all awesome!

1. Maybelline 24-hour Superstay Liquid Lipstick:

It's a two-step procedure. You should apply the long-wear lipstick first, then a moisturizing balm on top. It costs $8.98 and comes in a variety of colors to pick from. "Firmly mauve" was my choice, and it's a great fall shade.

This even includes a doe-foot applicator. The liquid lipstick should be applied first. When it came to application, the formula was extremely light, opaque, and simple to work with. After that, you must wait 2 minutes for the moisture to dry before applying the ultra-conditioning balm to seal it in. When the lipstick was drying, it felt really sticky and like it was getting into every crack on my lips, into every wrinkle, and forcing my lips together, but once I applied the balm, it felt much more comfortable.

It started to wear off around the edges and a very intense line appeared in the center by the end of the day, but the formula without the balm was the most irritating because it was tight, pulling, drying, and crackling on my lips. However, it lasts all day. It's non-transferrable. If you're planning a date night, it's highly recommended.

2. Wet N Wild Catsuit Lipstick:

I got this one in the shade "Rebel Rose". It costs $5.49. The formula is far more moisturizing, has a lighter texture, and dries quickly. After more than five hours, the lipstick is still totally on my lips and the color looks great.

At the end of the day, despite not reapplying all day, it still looks wonderful. It's incredibly light, and I didn't feel like I was wearing lipstick all day. It also wears away at the edges and in the center. However, if you have dry lips and a lot of wrinkles on your lips, you will have small divots. This formula is incredibly comfortable to wear all-day.

3. L’Oréal Matte Lip Stain:

This is a matte lipstick and I use the shade "I Explore". This color is perfect for fall. It retails for $7.95. It has a nice applicator; its tip is very stiff and sharp so you can be very precise with your application. I like this formula it's very lightweight and reapplying it doesn’t dry out your lips. After six hours of wearing, you will have to reapply in certain areas. But the one thing is that the way it wears down if you do apply it on top without any kind of lip balm and if you have dryer lips it's going to create an extra layer and it's going to be a darker layer.

In my opinion, this is the only big downfall. It's very comfortable to wear and I don't feel anything on my lips. It doesn't crack your lips and is easy to wear. At the end of the day, it started wearing off a little bit from the edges and again that line appeared in the center but it's definitely the most long-wearing. It definitely doesn't beat Maybelline.

4. NYX Suede Lipstick:

I got this one in the shade "Soft Spoken". It retails for $7. It has a nice doe-foot applicator, but this is probably longer than other, and it's not very precise. Its formula is very moussey, very soft, and very velvety. It's definitely one of the few formulas out of the four that is not super mattifying. It's very comfortable and opaque. It's very easy to apply and you don't have to layer the product on top. It doesn't create any weird patching because sometimes with liquid lipsticks, especially if your lips are dry, you go over certain areas multiple times and it starts skipping and creating bald patching. It's a very lightweight formula. After almost six hours, it’s starting to pull on the lips. It hasn't fully dried down because it's not fully matte. It's transfer-proof.

At the end of the day, it still looks pretty good. I didn't reapply this lipstick at all once. It's one of the best long-lasting out of the four. The negative part is you can still feel it on your lips. It actually looks the best in the center. It doesn't have really intense line and the outside of my lips looks pretty good.
