The Effortless Way to Get Rid of Dark Circles Under Your Eyes!
You know that feeling when you have dark circles under your eyes? It's absolutely horrible. Not only are they ugly, but they can also make you feel exhausted and anxious.
So, in this blog, I'll go over the many types of dark circles, how to prevent them, and the several solutions available. As a result, there are many different types of black circles, each with its unique set of causes, colors, and other distinguishing features. Colors include:
1. Bluish Dark Circles:
Causes:
1. Stressful lifestyle
2. Lack of sleep
3. Allergies
4. Stuffy nose.
Your way of living is most likely to blame for your bluish dark circles. You might develop bluish dark circles if you're nervous and have a blocked nose, or if you're allergic to anything. Nasal decongestants, such as slowed microcirculation, might cause your blood to become less oxygenated, changing it from bright red to dull blue.
Solution 1: Get Enough Sleep
Sleep is essential not just for dark circle care, but for all types of skincare. So, the first piece of advice for sleeping is:
• Excessive pressure on your eyes should be avoided.
• Before going to bed, make sure you take out your contact lenses and wipe all eye makeup.
• Before going to sleep, don't stare at your phone for too long. This might cause your eyes to become stressed.
Solution 2: Never Ever Rub Your Eyes
Because the skin around your eyes is so thin and fragile, rubbing it might cause irritation. This might make the pigmentation and redness around the eyes worse. Remember to keep your irritation to a minimum. If your eyes are irritated, the best thing you can do is
• Add a couple of eye drops instead of rubbing with your hands.
• Fan lightly to cool the eye areas.
2. Brownish Dark Circles:
Causes:
1. Aging
2. Genetic factors
3. Blood vessels showing
4. Sun damage (pigmentation)
Sun exposure and genetics might cause hyperpigmentation under the eyes, resulting in brown or black circles. While dark circles caused by excess pigmentation can affect any skin tone, they are most frequent in medium to darker skin tones.
Tip 1 Never Forget to Apply SPF Underneath the Eyes
The most common cause of black circles is skin damage caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Apply SPF to your entire face, including your undereye area. However, because the skin under your eyes is delicate, avoid using a strong sunscreen or anything that might dry it out. So, for this, I recommend using KLAIRS Blue Sun lotion.
Solution : Add a Lightweight Sun Lotion Under Your Eyes
Apply sun lotion before applying your foundation and BB cream. But, because the area under your eyes can get irritated if you rub it with your hands, use a sponge and apply it thoroughly. However, if you're wearing makeup, keep it light on your face and stick to a BB cream or a concealer with SPF. SPF should be applied throughout the day, so reapply SPF underneath your eyes every 3 to 4 hours.
Tip 2 Vitamin C Brightening
This can vary based on the type of dark circles you have, but you can see a brightening effect if you treat the pigmentation and darkening under your eyes. For brightening, I recommend using KLAIRS Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop.
Solution : Add Vitamin C care under your eyes
Applying a light vitamin serum, such as the KLAIRS Vitamin Drop, to your fourth finger and gently pressing on the under-eye areas might help brighten your under-eye.
Tip 3 Brightening Care with Niacinamide
Niacinamide is another ingredient that helps in skin brightening. For this, I recommend using BY WISHTREND Hours-Long Moisturizing Gauze Sheet Mask.
Solution 1: Brightening Care with Sheet Mask
The niacinamide-infused sheet mask is designed to cover all of the areas around the eyes for several hours. But be careful not to get it in your eyes, and take good care of your under-eye area.
Solution 2: A Sleeping Mask for Brightening
Use a sleep mask that contains brightening ingredients such as vitamin E before you go to sleep. For this, I recommend using KLAIRS Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask.
3. Purplish Dark Circles:
Causes:
1. Blood vessels that can be seen.
2. Under-eye skin that is thinned.
3. Those with a pale skin tone will notice it more.
Genetics and aging. Your blood vessels are what you're seeing. As you become older and your skin thins, your blood vessels become more visible. Genetics is likely to blame if you have exceptionally light skin. Because your skin is more transparent, your blood vessels are more noticeable.
Tip 1 Anti-aging Care Under the Eyes
Solution 1: Blue Drop Under Eyes
Apply the blue drop underneath the eyes with your fingertips after cleansing and before toner. KlAIRS Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop is a product I recommend using. It contains peptides and EGF, which will help to reduce wrinkles around the eyes and increase collagen formation.
Solution 2: DIY Anti-Aging Under Eyes Mask
Use a sponge cotton pad soaked in the blue drop and lay it under the eyes for one to two minutes after cleansing and before toner. Alternatively, you might use the toner to get the same results. I recommend using KLAIRS Supple Preparation Facial Toner.
4. Shadowed Dark Circles:
Causes:
1. Aging
2. Loss of weight
3. Between your eyes and your cheekbones, there's a vast valley. This is more of a part of your facial structure than a skin problem.
Finally, some general guidelines to avoid making your dark circles worse.
Tip 1 Never Forget to Remove Makeup
Guys, as I already said, always, always, always remove your makeup. Even if you don't use makeup, remember to get rid of all the filth and waste from your eyes before going to bed. Use a cleansing oil to remove any eye makeup, especially if you use eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, or any other type of eye makeup during the day. I recommend using KLAIRS Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil.
Hack 1 - Gently remove and rub the makeup around your eyes with a cleansing oil using your fourth finger.
Hack 2 -Use the sponge pad with cleansing oil for more effective makeup removal. I recommend using KLAIRS Toner Mate 2 in 1 Cotton Pads.
Hack 3 - If you want to do a more thorough job of makeup removal, use a Q-tip and cleansing oil to remove the makeup once more.
If your makeup tends to smudge and come off throughout the day, gently wipe it away with a Q-tip and toner or light cream. KLAIRS Supple Preparation Facial Toner is a toner that I recommend. However, avoid getting cleansing products in your eyes. Take care.
Tip 2 Don’t Leave Your Under Eyes Dry
Apply a mild moisturizer to your under-eye area. Everyone understands the importance of moisturizing their skin. However, they frequently overlook the under-eye area. Because the skin under your eyes is prone to drying and is extremely thin and delicate, it's important to take adequate care of it.
Tip 3 Avoid Heavy Concealer
Some of you with dark circles may try to conceal them with a lot of concealer. Using a lot of concealer, on the other hand, might dry out your under-eye area and make your eyes tired, resulting in even more dark circles. Instead of applying a heavy concealer and layering it under your eyes, consider light and gentle concealer or a color corrector to cover the black and dull tone underneath your eyes.
