Why Do Korean Women Never Get Dark Circles?

Have you ever thought to yourself, "How do they have such flawless skin?” if you're watching Korean dramas or films? Well, it comes from a skincare routine. Not only is it important to clean your face, but also to tone and moisturize as well. I will tell you guys my best tips and tricks on how to get rid of dark circles and puffiness under the eyes in my blog.

how to remove dark circles, puffy eyes

In order to have beautiful skin, Korean women spend a lot of time on skin care. Cleansing is definitely a big part of this process. One thing that I especially like is the one-minute rule because it helps the skin stay moisturized while giving it some extra protection.

When you are applying skin care products, remember to apply them within one minute. This will help your skin from getting too dry and it will allow the product to absorb into your skin better.

Now let's talk about the eyes, the Clarins Double Serum Eye is great to help smooth wrinkles, reduce puffiness and dark circles. It also strengthens and protects the skin around the eyes. One of the biggest tips I’ve learned from Korean girls is that they apply eye serum day and night someone said to me that if you want to get your dark circles under control you have to keep that area hydrated because once your skin gets dry it becomes easier to get fine lines and wrinkles.

There are several ways to keep your eyes healthy, and one is by using eye serum. Clarins' double serum eye is wonderful for eliminating puffiness and dark circles, as well as smoothing wrinkles.

Another tip I've learned from Korean girls is that they apply eye serum every day and night. Someone recently told me that if you want to get rid of dark circles, you need to keep that area hydrated because dry skin is more prone to fine lines and wrinkles.

Apply a multitasking serum as a base, and one of my favorites is the Clarins Double Serum, which helps regenerate, oxygenate, provide nutrients, hydrate, and protect the skin. To use, simply warm it in your palms and apply pressure points around the face, including the forehead and neck. Turmeric and banana extract, oats, avocado and mango, and kiwi are just a few of the wonderful plant extracts in the serum.

Another excellent tip is to use a cool eye-roller. When my eyes are puffy in the morning, I put the roller in the freezer and rub it under my eyes, which really reduces the puffiness. If you don't have an eye-roller, an ice cube in a plastic bag can be used instead.

The next tip is, applying under-eye masks weekly is a fantastic way to keep your under eyes hydrated. When my skin feels very dry, especially during the winter season, I use this twice a week. Apply the mask and keep it on for 15 minutes before removing it. As a bonus, you may use your fingers to give a short lymphatic drainage massage around your eyes to reduce puffiness even more.

Microcurrent is a new technique that I've seen Korean girls use. Basically, you apply a gel to any areas where you want to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and then use a microcurrent device to apply it in circular motions in each area for about three to five minutes. Doing this weekly can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Lastly, don't forget to apply sunscreen under your eyes. While you might not always think about it, this area of skin is very thin, so it needs protection from the sun just as much as the rest of your face.
